Rohan, firstly great job on the article!

Please consider my reply as less of a validation and more in appreciation for your efforts.

You rightfully addressed one of the pressing issues of our times — the endless scrolling on Social Media.

What I have noticed is Social media occupies a central part when we don’t otherwise set and go after goals.

Goals are very important, they give you a purpose. Without them you will find yourself looking for items that nudge your serotonin receptors and make you feel special.

Failing sucks, it sucks for everyone. We live in an age where failing is considered next to being left out, being outcasted, being left behind and hence social media such such a powerful tool. It doesn’t leave out anyone behind, it accepts everyone from a movie star to a mason!

The way I use social media has radically changed now.

On insta I follow hashtags instead of people — #hiit, #mobility, #workout, #wod (workoutoftheday, crossfit) I have found these to be treasure troves of unexplored content , content that make sense to me.

On Facebook I again follow certain phDians like dr. Rhonda Patrick.
